Welder Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Our client in Jersey City is in need of a Welder to support their growth Duties include:

• Weld, cut, and fabricate sanitation equipment, including dumpsters, garbage trucks, and recycling bins.
• Strengthen and repair metal structures to enhance the safety and longevity of sanitation machinery.
• Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to complete welding tasks effectively.
• Apply various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, stick, and arc welding, as required by the project.
• Inspect sanitation equipment to assess necessary repairs or reinforcements.
• Safely operate welding and cutting tools, including torches, grinders, and plasma cutters.
• Maintain a tidy and secure work environment while adhering to all safety regulations and workplace protocols.
• Work alongside mechanics and other team members to ensure prompt maintenance and repairs of sanitation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine upkeep on welding tools and machinery.
• Verify that all welded components comply with industry quality standards and requirements.

Minimum 2 years welding experience and proficiency in TIG, MIG, stick welding and oxy fuel cutting 5:30am-2pm Monday-Friday $19hr
