Essential Functions Purpose:
Advance Auburn Advancement’s engagement strategy by cultivating lifelong relationships with alumni, donors, students, faculty, and staff that inspire pride and philanthropic investment.
Develop and implement strategies that promote meaningful involvement and sustained affinity among Auburn alumni and stakeholders.
Will serve as a liaison to the Support Committee of the Auburn Alumni Association Board and will share responsibility for engaging the board in tandem with the Chief Engagement Officer.
Collaboration:
Work in close partnership with the Chief Engagement Officer to implement and evolve strategic engagement and retention initiatives.
Engage university leadership and volunteer networks to amplify Auburn’s mission and mobilize support through shared goals and collective action. Will work together with the Executive Director of Advancement Events and External Relations to drive strategically informed, large-scale engagement efforts.
Innovation:
Drive change initiatives that enhance the engagement function
- leveraging data, cultural trends, and strategic foresight to continuously improve outcomes.
Translate emerging engagement trends into actionable strategies that elevate Auburn’s national presence and deepen alumni loyalty.
Will be data-driven, self-motivated, eager to innovate and elevate the landscape of alumni engagement.
Production:
Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for a team of Regional Engagement Officers and Auburn Giving Officers, ensuring alignment with Advancement goals.
Oversees the planning and execution of targeted engagement initiatives that grow the donor pipeline and enhance alumni participation, working closely with frontline fundraisers to qualify Auburn alumni and friends for giving capacity and affinity, further driving pipeline sustainability and growth, along with increasing overall fundraising production.
