Position Overview:
A leading organization in the digital media and entertainment sector is seeking a strategic Manager, Social Media to join their global team on a freelance basis. This role presents an opportunity to shape and elevate the brand’s social media presence across corporate and creator-focused channels. You will play a key role in developing and executing dynamic social strategies that engage audiences and amplify the company’s narrative.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and execution of content for both brand and creator-facing social platforms.
Maintain and manage editorial calendars; coordinate with internal stakeholders for content alignment.
Create, publish, and schedule compelling posts, images, videos, and stories across multiple channels.
Collaborate cross-functionally with communications, marketing, and other business units.
Oversee content creation workflows: draft briefs, review assets, and approve agency-generated materials.
Manage daily community engagement; ensure responses adhere to brand voice and standards.
Implement paid content strategies as needed; monitor campaign budgets for accuracy.
Analyze social media performance metrics; deliver actionable insights to inform ongoing strategy.
Cultivate effective relationships with agency partners for collaborative campaign execution.
Serve as project manager for corporate brand social initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve processes based on analytics and evolving business needs.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
5-8+ years’ experience managing social media for corporate or creator-driven audiences.
Demonstrated success developing and executing multi-platform social strategies.
Outstanding writing/editing skills with attention to detail and tone consistency.
Proficiency with publishing, scheduling, community management, and analytics tools.
Keen budget management skills; experience with paid campaigns is an asset.
Strong organizational abilities; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.
Experience collaborating with agencies or third-party vendors highly valued.
An understanding of both corporate storytelling and the creator economy is desirable.
A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and takes initiative.
Excellent written communication and presentation skills for hybrid work settings.
