PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Detail-oriented to keep up with fast-paced, ever-changing marketing needs. Has the ability to track and complete tasks and projects in a timely manner, including managing social media and intranet structure and collaborating with Marketing team on internal and external communication. Will work closely with the Marketing team and Creative Design Manager to develop visually appealing designs for a multitude of digital and print mediums while adhering to company brand guidelines.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
Social Media Management Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy Create and manage engaging content for various social media platforms Monitor social media channels for industry trends and audience engagement Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance Collaborate with marketing team to align social media content with overall marketing goals including highlighting community partnerships, products/services Build and nurture engagement – internal and external Intranet Content Management Develop and maintain dynamic content for company intranet, ensuring employees are always in the loop with the latest news, events and resources. Ensure content is current, relevant, and engaging to team members Work with various departments to gather and publish important information and updates Develop and implement strategies to increase intranet engagement and usage Product Development Communication Assist product development team by creating and coordinating communication and timelines Identifying channels to best communicate product changes. Leveraging touchpoints to ensure communications are delivered in the most effective, efficient and relevant ways possible. Event Planning Plan, organize, and prepare for internal and external events with attention to detail.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in marketing related field Proven experience in social media management and content creation Strong writing, editing and communication skills Creative mindset with a flair for storytelling Familiarity with social media analytics tools and intranet management systems Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in in Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft software Ability to work independently and as part of a team
