Sales and Marketing Manager Imperial DAX 120 New Dutch Lane, Fairfield, NJ 07004 Overview DAX was founded as the Imperial DAX Company in 1954 with facilities in Fairfield, NJ. DAX is a global multicultural hair care company that manufactures, markets, and distributes a variety of hair and skin care products including waxes, natural creams, gels, oils, and pomades for all hair types. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, establishing, and maintaining strong relationships with new and current customers – identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions. The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the Consumer Package Goods (CPG) industry and a proven track record establishing and growing new markets. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence.
Responsibilities :
Reports to the General Manager (GM) Develops and maintains annual marketing and sales budgets Creates strategic marketing & sales plans to increase profits and achieve sales goals Manages a small sales team (inside and outside) Manages a small marketing team Manages existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Tracks discounts, prices, sales activities, and analyzes performance metrics. Addresses client inquiries and resolves issues promptly Manages trade show attendance and other industry events , to increase sales and to promote our products and services at events Manages all sales activities Oversees all marketing and advertising activities Oversees all social media accounts, websites and other and online accounts Assists GM with public relations Oversees all merchandising activities Contacts customers regularly to discuss current products, new products, samples, sales, ordering and shipping, cooperative marketing agreements, pricing and discount tiers, quality, etc. Research, plan, establish, and grow new territories and market areas Grow DAX as a distributor in the US Direct to Customer (DTC) market (Amazon, DAX webpage, etc.) utilizing RangeMe and other online sales platforms Track all sales statistics closely and coordinate with GM on new ideas regularly Track DAX product pricing and cost of production closely Study and maintain records of all competitors, their products and pricing Create new products new products (product development) Manage all aspects of new product development Manage and attend tradeshows while finding and managing a list of new events DAX should attend in the future Skills CPG Sales experience CPG Marketing experience Strong understanding of sales techniques and account management practices Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively Proficiency in conducting product demonstrations that resonate with potential customers Experience with DTC and BTD sales processes and strategies Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making and optimize sales efforts Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to client satisfaction We offer a great environment with competitive salaries, fostering new ideas with room for growth.
