As a member of the leadership team, the VP of Marketing will play a key role in expanding our brand presence, optimizing marketing performance, and generating high-quality leads that convert into revenue in both our HVAC and home weatherization service lines. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, strong leadership, and hands-on execution across both digital and traditional marketing channels. Ideal candidates will have experience working in or with small to mid-sized service-based businesses and a deep understanding of performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Development Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation strategies to support sales goals across residential and commercial markets. Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business channels for growth. Analyze lead performance metrics and continually optimize campaigns for cost-efficiency and conversion. Marketing Strategy & Execution Define and manage the overall marketing plan aligned with company goals. Lead brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms and customer touchpoints. Oversee content creation, email marketing, local SEO/SEM, direct mail, and event marketing initiatives. Agency Management Manage relationships with external advertising and media buying agencies. Evaluate and approve media plans, creative output, campaign performance, and budgets. Ensure accountability and ROI from all marketing vendors and contractors. Team Leadership & Collaboration Build and manage a small in-house marketing team as needed. Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to align marketing strategies with business needs. Present regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to the executive team.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in marketing, Proven track record of successful lead generation and marketing ROI, especially in B2C service industries. Strong experience managing external agencies and marketing vendors. Deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, Google Ads, paid social, and CRM systems. Excellent communication, project management, and data analysis skills. Experience in the HVAC, energy efficiency, or home services sector is a strong plus.
