About the Role We’re hiring a seasoned productmarketing leader to scale our SMB business and expand Responsive’sfootprint through product-led, self-service channels. Reporting tothe Vice President of Product Marketing, this is a high-impact,cross-functional role that blends strategy and execution. You’lllead the go-to-market and monetization strategy for ourself-service offering – including sign-up and billing experiences -collaborating closely with product, design, sales, customersuccess, and support to create a seamless end-to-end journey fromacquisition to onboarding, conversion, and expansion. This role isideal for someone with an analytical and customer-centricorientation who embraces AI as a competitive advantage. You’ll joinan agile, results-focused marketing organization that isaccelerating Responsive’s relevance and value as a pivotaltechnology in customers’ GTM tech stack.
What Youll Do Drive GTMStrategy:
Own and evolve the GTM strategy for our self-serviceoffering, including segmentation, positioning, launch planning,monetization strategy, and lifecycle engagement. Build theFoundation for
Scalable PLG Motion:
Optimize key self-servicecomponents – such as sign-up flows, onboarding journeys, andpurchase process – to drive acquisition, activation, and conversionImprove growth loops, using focused experiments to remove frictionand accelerate engagement, purchase, and adoption across thecustomer journey .
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment and Execution:
Act as the connective tissue across product, marketing, sales,customer success, and support to ensure a unified self-serviceexperience.
Accelerate Expansion and Account Growth:
Identifysignals and pathways that support natural movement fromself-service to higher-tier offerings, including escalation tosales where appropriate.
Champion Data-Driven Decision Making:
Report on performance of self-service offering using sales,product, and support data Run funnel diagnostics to close the loopbetween acquisition, adoption, and retention Scale Growth andOperational Effectiveness with
AI:
Identify opportunities toleverage AI to scale and accelerate impact of our offering and GTMoperations, driving efficiency and innovation within theorganization. Who You Are A strategic, entrepreneurial operatorwith deep PLG experience and a track record of building and scalinggo-to-market motions in B2B SaaS Equally effective at strategicthinking and hands-on execution – you can zoom out and roll up yoursleeves as needed. Exceptionally collaborative with strongcross-functional influence – able to drive consensus, move fast,and align teams around a shared vision. Analytical to the core -you know how to derive insights from usage data, funnel metrics,and customer feedback to guide decisions and prove impact. A crispcommunicator who can inspire, align, and present with clarity andconfidence to executive audiences. Comfortable navigatingambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, andadapting plans as you learn and scale. Outcome-driven andrelationship-oriented – you don’t just get things done, you get theright things done, with an eye toward long-term impact andcollaboration. Bonus:
Experience leading PLG motions for AI solutions inthe sales/marketing tech stack Experience & Education 10 years ofprogressive product marketing experience; B2B SaaS industryexperience preferred. 5 years experience in PLG with progressivescope and leadership Proven ability to lead complex, multi-channelmarketing programs from brief to delivery. Bachelors degree inMarketing, Business Administration, or related field required. MBAor advanced degree preferred but not required. What We OfferResponsive uses a market-based compensation philosophy. Acandidate’s starting base salary will be determined by the specificresponsibilities of the role, as well as job-related skills,experience, qualifications, location, and current market trends.
For this position, the base salary range is $175,000-$220,000. Ourrecruiting team will provide details on the applicable range basedon your location during the hiring process. Please note that thisrange covers base salary only and does not include bonuses, equity,or benefits.
