A major client of ours, in the medical space, has a need for aProduct Manager for their Melville, NY office. Position DescriptionAs the Product Manager for our nitrous oxide product line, you willbe responsible for executing our strategy and driving the successof the product. This role requires a dynamic leader with strongcommunication skills to manage all aspects of the product line,including prioritizing and coordinating cross-functional supportactivities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Analyzes markets andcompetition and develops roadmaps and initiatives fordifferentiation of existing products and new product developmentDelivers the operating plan: Achievement of growth objectivesincluding market share, revenue, profit and return on investmentfor all the channels/categories of the business unit Manage productdevelopment process from concept to design, specification, sampleproduction, testing, cost, pricing, production, promotion, support,and finally product end of life Collaborate with Engineering, Salesand Marketing to prioritize and implement roadmaps and strategicinitiatives to obtain strong value propositions Accountable for andworks with operations and sales teams to create and execute aviable go-to-market strategy that ensures market share Supportssales team and customers with guidance on product application.(Piping specification services a plus, not a must) Manages productservice and support strategies – including training of hotline,field technicians and dealer technicians Builds and keepsrelationships to key customers – Dealers, DSOs, KOLs etc.
Accountable for meeting goals on KPIs for the product linesassigned Coordinates all technical and commercial aspects of newproduct programs Interfaces with customers and attending industryevents Work Experience Requirements 3 years’ experience in at least1 of the following fields: Marketing, Technical Sales, ProductManagement, Product Marketing Management or Business Developmentfor nitrous oxide delivery systems or related products requiredExperience with business strategy, negotiations, projectmanagement, and team leadership Technical experience with dentalproducts is preferred but not a must. Skills in presentationpreparation, data analysis is a must Market and customer managementStrategic and analytical thinking Project Management and leadershipCollaboration and communication Ability to travel with our TMs, tocustomer- and/or industry events as required.
