Adjunct Job Description The instructor will be responsible for directing the Tri-State Community Chorus, a choir that consists of both LMU students and local community members.
Responsibilities include:
Holding weekly choir rehearsals Monday evenings from 7-9 pm,Scheduling/programming/executing one performance on-campus near the end of each semester, Auditioning/awarding participation scholarships to students each Fall, Collaborating with the other music faculty to award annual endowed scholarships to excellent students each Spring Required Qualifications MM or Masters Degree in a related field or extensive experience as a choir director. Piano skills Preferred Qualifications At least 2-3 years of experience directing choir at any level. Piano skills that allow the instructor to perform piano parts for all rehearsals and performances
