This role involves working closely with dogs of various breeds, ensuring their hygiene and appearance while also providing a comfortable and safe experience for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Assess the condition of each dog’s coat and skin, recommending appropriate grooming techniques and products. Handle animals safely and humanely, using proper restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and the groomer. Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their dog’s grooming needs. Assist with pet sitting or care as needed, ensuring all animals are treated with respect and compassion. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that prioritizes animal welfare. Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is preferred but not required; training may be available for motivated candidates.
