Dog Daycare and Kennel Attendant Doggy Resort SRQ Sarasota, FL 34235 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and engaging environment for dogs while ensuring their well-being and happiness. Your love for animals and ability to handle various breeds will be essential in creating a positive experience for both the dogs and their owners. Responsibilities Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor dog behavior and health, reporting any concerns to management promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels, play areas, and equipment. Administer basic care such as feeding & watering. Maintain a CLEAN outdoor area at ALL times- Cleaning & Poop Sweeps mandatory. Not everyday is the same, Work closely with the owner daily to ensure proper procedures. Every morning the owner & employee with have a meeting to go over the day/night schedule as days are different depending on the number of dogs daily. Ensure proper protocol to keep the barking down to a minimum as there is a neighborhood behind the facility. Experience Previous experience in pet care or animal handling is preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving large bags of dog food or lifting dogs into vehicles. Experience in kennel operations.
