Animal Caretaker Ranch Critters Winter Garden, FL 34787 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caretaker to clean up after, feed, water, brush and love our critters. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and the ability to provide high-quality care for a variety of animals. This role involves ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of animals on our property, while also maintaining a clean and organized environment. The Animal Caretaker will work closely with veterinary staff if needed. Must be comfortable with cows, goats, donkeys and horses. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and loving on them. Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any concerns to owner. Administer medications as directed by veterinarians or owner. Maintain cleanliness in barns, tack rooms, water buckets and feed buckets, enclosures, and any areas they are in. Handle animals safely and effectively during care routines. Only use positive reinforcement. Never show anger towards any animal. Experience Knowledge of farm animals and their behavior is essential. Previous experience is preferred. Skills in handling equine care are highly valued. Ability to administer medications accurately and compassionately. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being is crucial.
