Dog Daycare Attendant Position Available In Onondaga, New York

Dog Daycare Attendant Tiny Tails of Syracuse Inc. Syracuse, NY 13206 Duties include supervising and cleaning up after 20-30 small/small medium dogs in a dog daycare setting. The indoor area is about 3200 sq. ft, with an outdoor yard of about 1500 sq ft. 4-6 hours on Monday afternoon and one other, until closing. You would also be responsible for handling clients pick up of dogs and locking up for the night. If there are boarders on hand they would need to be fed and settled down for the overnight. You would also be needed for some weekend shifts, which are 7am-noon, and 4-7pm. Some weekends there are no boarders, but for most there are anywhere from 5 to 12 dogs, which would need to be fed and tended to. Deeper cleaning jobs are also done on weekends. If there are no boarders Sunday would be a day off. Much of the time during the afternoon/closing shifts will be spent alone, besides the dogs of course, and weekends too, you would be by yourself generally. Total hours per week is 15-20. You should be comfortable with dogs and be able to take on the role as their leader. Keeping the facility clean and organized is important, and after a short time on the job you should be able to accomplish this without direct supervision. Being on time and reliable is a must!
