Competitive, based on experience Merry Puppins is hiring a Certified Dog Trainer to lead our structured, small-group Day School for Dogs program! This is a fun and rewarding opportunity to provide personalized training and enrichment to a consistent group of dogs—while working alongside a supportive assistant and team. Job Responsibilities Lead 3-hour Day School sessions twice weekly Supervise and mentor a Day School Assistant Teacher Design and run training activities, enrichment sessions, and structured play Monitor dog behavior and group dynamics Communicate with clients and provide written report cards with photos Ensure safety, engagement, and appropriate behavior for all dogs in the program Coordinate drop-off/pick-up and support concierge transit Clean and sanitize training areas, toys, and equipment after each session Requirements Certified Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA, IAABC, or equivalent) At least 1 year of hands-on dog training or behavior experience Strong understanding of canine body language and positive reinforcement methods Calm, confident leader with great communication skills Comfortable managing groups of up to 6 dogs Reliable transportation and punctual availability Why Join Us?
