Hair Salon Assistant Mane Techniques 322 E Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA 19087 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty industry and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Salon Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our stylists and ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in a salon setting while developing their skills. Duties Assist stylists with various services, including hair threading, nail care, and other beauty treatments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and addressing their needs in a friendly and professional manner. Provide knowledgeable support regarding services & products available in the salon. Support retail sales by promoting products and upselling services to clients. Utilize Boulevard & Professional Salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Manage stock levels by restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability. Utilize basic math skills to assist with transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations and common areas. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations. Participate in mentoring opportunities to enhance your skills in cosmetology and color theory. Experience Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related environment is preferred but not required. Current and up to date cosmetology license is preferred but not required. Previous experience in customer service Familiarity and experience with cosmetology services is preferred. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage clients positively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
