Position Summary:

As a Funeral Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring that services run smoothly and that families and guests feel supported during their time of need. This is an as-needed position with a flexible schedule, averaging no more than 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist funeral directors with setup and coordination of funeral and memorial services Guide family members and attendees to the appropriate locations during services Transport family members to and from the grave site as needed Set up and clean up chapels, visitation rooms, and other service areas Support the funeral home team with additional duties and operational needs as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be professional, compassionate, and dependable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain discretion Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items as part of setup/cleanup tasks Prior experience in a customer service or support role is a plus

Schedule:

This position is part-time and on an as-needed basis. Some evening and weekend availability may be required based on service schedules.
