JOB SUMMARY

Provide friendly and efficient service mending, sewing and altering employee uniforms.

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values Measure new employees and alter garments to fit Provide sewing, mending and altering services for employee uniforms Provide mending services for employees and players on request and as approved by management Assist with special sewing and alteration projects for special events and promotions Modify and/or create specialized uniforms for employees as needed Utilize a computerized inventory management system to track and assign uniforms Utilize specialized equipment to engrave custom nameplates and attach fabric barcodes Ensure that employee uniform problems are handled in an effective and courteous manner Flexible and receptive to change in work environment and procedure Participate in departmental and property-wide discussions, meetings, and service initiatives Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required One year of experience in a commercial or industrial sewing facility or equivalent home experience required Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills: Extensive experience in the use of sewing machines and related equipment required Knowledge of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Ability to utilize sewing patterns and the ability to create patterns from existing uniforms required Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and surrounding property Must be able to demonstrate good dexterity skills for long periods of time Must be able to lift 15 pounds and carry 10 pounds Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondary smoke Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
