Job Description
Veterinary Assistant Good Ground Animal Hospital 238 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, NY 11946 We are currently hiring a full-time Veterinary Assistant. We are a busy, fast-paced small animal practice and are looking to hire a reliable, responsible, and compassionate candidate. We are willing to train but experience is preferred. Hours would be Monday, Tuesday, & Friday 8:30AM-6:00PM, & Saturday 8:30-4:00PM. Responsibilities include assisting Technicians and Doctors with restraint and treatments of patients, feeding and walking hospitalized patients, maintain cleanliness of treatment areas/cage/outside grounds, perform medicated bathing on patients, and collecting and entering in patient information for the Doctor/Technician, Pharmacy assistance, and Perform in house lab testing and sterilizing surgical equipment, etc.

$17.00 – $18.00 per hour
