About You:
We strongly believe that veterinary medicine is a team sport, andour preferred candidate is someone who feels the same. The idealcandidate for this role is comfortable with all aspects of generalpractice, including anesthesia and anesthetic monitoring, drugcalculations and protocols, dentistry, and surgery. Experience withEzyVet is an additional plus but not required. We highly valuecollaboration from all staff members, so please speak up, as yourinput is not only valued but can make a difference.
Compensation:
$19.50 – $26.00/hour dependent upon experience and education
Schedule:

Requirements 3-5 yearsVeterinary Technician experience. Associates in VeterinaryTechnology is a plus. CVT license is a plus. Knowledge withAnesthesia and monitoring. Phlebotomy Knowledge of the proceduresused for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medicalsupplies, and requesting laboratory tests. Knowledge of the use,care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, andequipment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilizevarious instruments and materials. Knowledge of the instruments,materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety oftreatments to make preparations and provide “tableside” assistance.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client andpersonal services. This includes client needs assessment, meetingquality standards for services, and evaluation of clientsatisfaction. Knowledge of the structure and content of the Englishlanguage including the meaning and spelling of words, rules ofcomposition, and grammar. Ability to work independently on assignedtasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Must be18 years or older to apply. ACP1
