Summary:
The Client Relations Account Professional is to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and making sure they stay clients by understanding their benefit goals and anticipating their needs.

Minimum Qualifications Proven track record of over 1+ years of working with clients and progressively increasing responsibility for client relationship management and consultation role. 1+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within the Insurance industry required. Excellent negotiation, collaboration and listening skills. Excellent messaging and presentation of information for client impact and influence Strong work management skills – identify a goal and the steps needed for accomplishment and proactively manage action steps to accomplish goal Strong business and financial acumen Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word. Ability to take care of the clients’ needs while following company procedures. Ability to manage multiple clients and multiple tasks at the same time. Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task for successful completion. Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals. Essential Functions Accountable for client satisfaction, as measured by survey results and persistency. Responsible for delivering value to client, including plan performance, account management, and service results. Establish and cultivate the client relationship at multiple levels, servicing in the insurance industry. Establish and manage relationships with consultants and brokers, recognizing the value they bring to the client. Create a strategic retention and growth plan for assigned client, documenting and maintaining the plan with formal plan reviews and regular outreach to the client to ensure client’s needs are being met. Compile and analyze data to identify trends and present solutions in a consultative driven process. Track solution performance and clearly articulate their value to the client. Strategically plan, negotiate, and influence the lifecycle of the client relationship from initial sale to each annual renewal leveraging internal team members and vendor partners to achieve client goals and client retention. Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base of assigned client, beyond the traditional insurance-focused information/knowledge, to become an extension of the client’s business. Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities for the client and client retention. Stay current with solutions and services offered and industry regulations and trends. Leverage internal team members as part of the client satisfaction experience. Meet all performance standards required by managing and monitoring activities along the client renewal cycle. Physical Demands – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This can be a sedentary role at times however requires travel to corporate office and clients. Work Environment – This job operates in an office environment. Requirements are a dedicated workspace with minimal distractions. Duties may require work during non-office hours when needed.
