Doug Curtiss Landscape is a full-service landscape company focused on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We are a family-owned business and have operated throughout central Massachusetts for the past 43 years. Throughout our extensive tenure in the industry, we have developed the experience and knowledge to complete an array of exterior services. These services are included within our three primary divisions: landscape maintenance, landscape construction, and snow management. Our clientele consists of residential communities and commercial properties with a focus on finer landscapes.
THE POSITION
We are seeking an Landscape Account Manager to facilitate the continued growth of the landscape maintenance and snow and ice management divisions of our business. We are a highly motivated group of team players and we are seeking these characteristics in our candidate. We are looking for someone that is either familiar with the landscape industry, or has a passion to learn what it takes to transfer their customer sales experience into an ever-growing industry. The primary job responsibilities will include:
LANDSCAPE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Contract renewal and management of existing contracts Strengthening customer relationships through communication and delivery of service Quality control and rapid resolution of customer concerns Coordination of crews, materials, and equipment for enhancement projects Allocation and management of snow removal process throughout snow management portfolio
SALES:
Facilitation of end-to-end bidding process post lead sale (Estimating, Bid Preparation, Submission/Presentation, and Closing) of Landscape Maintenance, and Snow and Ice Management proposals Upselling existing client portfolio enhancement projects Attendance of annual roadshow convention with business development team
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, has a positive attitude, and is a team player willing to do what it takes to keep our clients and team happy. This ideal, energetic candidate will have a well-rounded customer service skillset, and an interest in servicing a customer base within the landscape industry. The following are a list of skills that are both required, and preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong interpersonal skills Word processing•typing, emailing, knowledge and beginner/intermediate level use of Microsoft Suite Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Customer Service Experience (1-3 years•all industries) Associates/Bachelor’s Degree Ability to create and manage your own deliverables Driver’s License English speaking
PREFERRED SKILLS
(NOT
REQUIRED
): Landscape industry knowledge including basic knowledge of plants, turf, and landscape maintenance methods Sales Experience (1-3 years•all industries) Estimating Experience with Boss LM (Landscape Management Software)
