Job Description Field Access ManagerRole Overview As a Field Access Manager on the Patient Access team,you will play a proactive role in supporting patients by enhancingaccess to therapies across Takeda’s portfolio. Acting as a trustedpartner to healthcare providers and institutions, you will addressreimbursement and access barriers and deliver value throughstrategic account management and patient-focused support. As avital member of the Patient Access team, you will be at theforefront of Takeda’s mission to empower patients and providers bynavigating access challenges and delivering impactful solutions toimprove the patient journey.

Objectives and ResponsibilitiesOptimize Patient Access:

Serve as a key resource to navigatereimbursement and access challenges for patients and providers,ensuring timely and effective access to Takeda’s therapies.

Proactive Education and Support:

Deliver tailored, field-basededucation on reimbursement processes to key accounts, includingprovider group practices, hospitals, academic institutions,specialty pharmacies, and other healthcare stakeholders. Anticipateand address access challenges to support patient care.

StrategicPartnership:

Build and maintain collaborative relationships withhealthcare organizations, identifying and resolving reimbursementand access issues to ensure seamless therapy initiation andcontinuation.

Enhance Team Capabilities:

Provide education andsupport to internal teams, equipping colleagues with the knowledgeand tools to address complex reimbursement and access scenarioseffectively.

Adaptability and Insight:

Stay informed on healthcarepolicies, reimbursement trends, and regulatory requirements toproactively address challenges and opportunities in themarketplace.

Education, Skills, and Competencies Required:

Bachelor’s Degree. 5 years of field-based experience in accountmanagement, sales or medical affairs. Strong knowledge of thereimbursement landscape and the practice management environment.

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account-basedstrategies to drive access outcomes. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Expertise in account management, relationshipdevelopment, and issue resolution. Outstanding interpersonal skillsand flexibility to meet evolving customer and organizational needs.

Desired:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in reimbursementroles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or rare disease industry.

MBA or advanced degree. Experience in healthcare policy,reimbursement, market access, or related fields. Familiarity withbuy-and-bill and pharmacy models. Experience with specialty orhigh-cost therapies in chronic or acute care settings.

Location andTravel Requirements:

Role is field-based, requiring up to 75%travel.

Base Salary Range:

$145,600.00•$200,200.00 Theestimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for thisposition. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety offactors, including the qualifications of the individual applicantfor the position, years of relevant experience, specific and uniqueskills, level of education attained, certifications or otherprofessional licenses held, and the location in which the applicantlives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

The actualbase salary offered will be in accordance with state or localminimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. basedemployees may be eligible for short-term and/orlong-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible toparticipate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan andcompany match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basiclife insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteertime off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.

U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendaryear, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible toaccrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
