Position Overview The Account Manager serves as a strategic and operational bridge between WOTC.com and our clients, owning the post-onboarding experience with precision and care. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing client satisfaction, compliance with WOTC program requirements, and the continuous success of each account. This position blends relationship management, process oversight, and data integrity to support both client outcomes and organizational goals. A successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service and value. Key Responsibilities Program Administration & Compliance Oversee accurate and timely submission of monthly IRS Form 8850s. Collect, validate, and process NY Youth, FEZ, and Veteran Affidavits, ensuring completeness and adherence to compliance standards. Manage and maintain IRS Forms 9198 and Power of Attorney (POA) documentation to ensure authorized client representation. Client Support & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, offering responsive and consultative support. Draft and distribute clear, concise information requests, including documentation needs and submission timelines. Deliver high-touch onboarding refreshers and educational sessions via Zoom or Calendly to support client self-sufficiency. Account Management & Performance Monitoring Maintain and update client accounts, user profiles, and status logs to ensure real-time visibility across internal systems. Analyze payroll reports to verify WOTC eligibility compliance and address reporting inconsistencies. Monitor monthly NY Youth program hours and track participation in alignment with grant or program guidelines. Conduct annual performance reviews with clients to assess engagement, identify improvement opportunities, and drive program ROI. Data Quality & Operational Accuracy Ensure the integrity of key data points including employee start dates and address records for FEZ zone eligibility. Track incomplete applications and coordinate necessary follow-up to support completion and certification. Program Leadership Serve as lead coordinator for the NY Youth Program, including client education and reporting oversight. Facilitate updates and renewals for client POAs as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, client services, or tax credit processing (WOTC experience preferred) Working knowledge of federal hiring incentive programs and compliance practices Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable analyzing and interpreting payroll data and client reporting Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and CRM/database systems Self-starter with a collaborative attitude and a strong sense of ownership
