Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Transportation Broker – Account Manager who brings a portable book of business. If you’re driven by relationship-building, deal-closing, and have an existing client base that trusts your expertise, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
Manage and grow your own portfolio of clients, utilizing your book of business Act as the primary point of contact for shippers and carriers Negotiate rates, lanes, and freight contracts to maximize profitability Source reliable carriers and manage freight from pickup to delivery Resolve transportation issues with a focus on customer satisfaction Collaborate with internal support teams to ensure operational excellence Continuously grow your account volume and margins
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a transportation broker or account manager Existing book of business is required Strong industry knowledge and carrier network relationships Excellent negotiation and communication skills Self-starter mindset with a results-driven attitude Familiarity with TMS platforms and freight tools (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)
