Account Director (Healthcare/Health Insurance Verticals)

- $130,000 /yr Posted June 16, 2025 Our client, a digital marketing agency specializing in the healthcare space, is looking for an Account director to join their collaborative, remote-first team full-time.
This role will report to the head of strategy and business development and work cross functionally. This team manages multi-million-dollar accounts and is seeking a strategic leader who can drive client success, campaign performance, and account growth. Account Director Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client relationship and strategic collaboration for a major healthcare account
- Oversee 10 to 15 integrated performance marketing campaigns across two business units
- Translate client goals into actionable marketing strategies across digital, creative, media, and analytics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Lead strategic conversations, quarterly business reviews, and performance recaps
- Partner with internal teams to ensure deliverables are on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals
- Manage scopes, budgets, contracts, and reporting using project management and CRM tools
- Identify growth opportunities within the account and proactively pitch new ideas and innovations
- Contribute to internal process improvements, team development, and strategic initiatives
- Stay current on healthcare marketing trends, tools, and regulatory shifts
- Support new business efforts, including RFPs and client case studies Account Director Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Account Director role within an agency environment
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Strong background in healthcare or healthcare systems (IDNs preferred) or heath insurance
- Proven success managing large-scale client accounts with 7
- 8 figure budgets
- Experience leading agency of record relationships across brand, creative, and media
- Deep understanding of digital performance media, analytics, SEO, and brand strategy
- Fluent in project management tools and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot)
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to perform and present in high-pressure situations
- Self-motivated, strategic, and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset
