Job Description
Farmer’s Market Representative Atlanta Harvest 3529 Anvil Block Rd, Ellenwood, GA 30294 As a Farmer’s Market Representative, you will be the face of our company at our farmer’s market. Your role will involve setting up and managing our market tent, engaging with customers, and ensuring that our products are presented in the best possible light. You will play a crucial role in representing our brand and fostering strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and break down the market tent, including arranging products, signage, and displays. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with market-goers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Handle cash transactions and manage the point-of-sale system accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the booth throughout the market hours. Track inventory and report any issues or shortages to the management team. Promote our brand and products through engaging storytelling and personal interactions. Assist in planning and executing promotional activities or special events at the market.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in retail, customer service, or market sales is preferred. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash. Physical stamina to set up and take down market displays and to stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work weekends and early mornings as needed.
