In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing sponsorship opportunities for local business to sponsor tennis programming and tournaments. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify potential sponsors, build relationships, and create tailored sponsorship packages that deliver value to both the sponsors and our organization. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities through research and networking. Develop compelling sponsorship proposals that effectively communicate the benefits of partnership. Manage relationships with existing sponsors to ensure satisfaction and retention. Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to enhance our sponsorship strategies. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to integrate sponsorships into broader promotional efforts. Conduct cold calling to potential sponsors to generate interest and secure meetings. Utilize software tools for tracking sponsorship agreements, performance metrics, and reporting outcomes. Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue from existing sponsorships. Provide exceptional customer service to sponsors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in sales management, particularly in outside sales or territory management. Strong account management skills with a focus on building long-term relationships. Excellent analytical skills to assess sponsorship performance and market opportunities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Proficiency in using software tools relevant to sales tracking and reporting. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong customer service orientation.
