Role:

Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for driving revenue across diverse channels? We are seeking a VP of Sales & Business Development Manager to lead and scale a high-performing sales team, develop innovative strategies, and expand our brand’s presence in green grass, retail, corporate, and online sales environments. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading, managing, and scaling a high-performing sales team. Develop and execute creative sales strategies across green grass, retail, corporate, and online sales channels. Drive revenue growth by identifying, managing, and closing new business opportunities. Build, strengthen, and leverage industry relationships to grow brand awareness and distribution. Oversee licensing opportunities and manage partner relationships strategically. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure brand alignment and customer satisfaction. Implement effective training programs to continually improve team performance. Accurately forecast, report, and communicate sales performance and projections to executive leadership. Utilize Salesforce and financial performance software for pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Manage time and resources efficiently across multiple priorities and projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven leadership experience in sales, online sales, and business development , ideally scaling an apparel or performance brand. Outstanding communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal – with a strong ability to communicate upward to executives and outward to clients. Highly skilled at detailed reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with Salesforce, e-commerce platforms, and financial performance software (such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar). Creative problem-solver with a track record of finding and opening new sales paths. Strong background in green grass, retail, corporate, and digital commerce sales environments. Deep understanding of the apparel industry and its evolving dynamics. Established network of industry contacts and relationships. Licensing experience and understanding of brand extension strategies. Strong listening skills and ability to translate client and market needs into actionable strategies. Ability to mentor and train sales teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Exceptional time management, organizational, and project management skills.

Preferred:

5+ years of sales leadership experience , with expertise in online sales and e-commerce growth strategies . Previous experience with a successful performance apparel, activewear, or premium lifestyle brand . Experience working with venture-backed or scaling companies . Critical Success Factors for
