As a Fabrication Sales Manager, you are responsible for gathering, analyzing, and improving the efficiency of regional processes. Roles and Responsibilities Interpret and qualify customer provided documents such as prints, CAD files, and specifications
Full understanding of tolerances, materials, specifications, and processing options that will guide a robust metal supply chain creation
Manage part specific supply chains by utilizing internal and external processing assets to meet customer quality and delivery requirements
Estimate material, labor , and delivery options on a part level basis and develop contract pricing templates based off awarded work
Basic understanding of part quality needs and requirements associated with first articles, PPAP experience a plus
Provide data to buyers, planners , and purchasing agents to determine material forecasts
Coordinate with RAP Projects Management to communicate implementation status with all shareholders
Supports and encourages quality, service, and safety objectives, strategies, and goals that reflect the company’s values, vision and capabilities for BDO office
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
1-3years ofSales Experience in metals industry
Print reading required. CAD or drafting experience is a plus
Knowledge of ERP systems is critical, SAP is a plus
Basic financial acumen in developing cost build ups and resale price recommendations Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skill, and technical aptitude
Proficiency within Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
