General Sales Manager Confidential Newton, NJ 07860 A highly successful dealership is accepting applications and conducting personal interviews to hire a General Sales Manager to join our team. You will manage both new and used vehicle sales. Strong CRM skills are important as we drive the business forward with the best tools available. This is an upbeat, fast paced work environment. Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure sales team members deliver a predefined number of quality appointments each day Maximize daily sales opportunities from Phone, Internet and Customer retention channels Ensure customers show for appointments Maintain car display Mentor and coach processes, techniques and required skills Effectively communicate with the Executive Management on a weekly basis to review departmental forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections Instruct and coach in best practices for responding to Internet based leads and a long term follow-up process Coach in best practices for incoming sales and outgoing follow-up sales calls Generate key reports and use various dashboards to measure and manage key performance metrics Identify ways to improve efficiency and improve internet optimization Monitor and mentor sales people on dealership processes and best practices Follow and utilize CRM and Lead Management tools Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”) Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include: background checks and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.

$125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
