Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our store team. The ideal candidate will drive sales, enhance customer satisfaction, and cultivate a motivated workforce. We are committed to promoting from within, with over 75% of Regional Managers starting their careers as General Managers. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and standards. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. Drive sales growth through executing marketing and customer engagement strategies. Manage inventory, budgets, and financial reporting to maximize sales performance. Foster a positive and inclusive store environment for both customers and employees. Implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge. The ability to maintain a fun and healthy culture.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to analyze sales metrics and make data-driven decisions. The ability to coach the sales team to meet and exceed expectations. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Management or related field preferred Three to five years or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literacy to include a working knowledge of standard business applications (MS Outlook, Word and Excel), in a Windows environment.
