Ethoca, a Mastercard Company, is looking for a Director, IssuerSales, North America. This position will be based in the
US. ROLE
- Ethoca is viewed as an extremely successful “Gold Standard”Mastercard acquisition / integration. To support our continuedscaling, growth and success, we are seeking a BD or Sales Leaderfor North America.
- Accountable for regional outreach to financialinstitutions and fintechs to broaden market penetration of Ethocasolutions.
- Works closely with Mastercard regional teams and withEthoca central Product & Technology teams to deliver results acrossNorth America.
- Responsible for identifying business opportunitiesand achieving sales objectives.
- A successful candidate in thisrole will: o Utilize a consultative sales approach and maintainflexibility to adapt solutions and offerings that fit the technicaland business buyer’s needs to create a long-term trustedrelationship.
o Operate collaboratively within a matrixedorganization, leveraging the full breadth of Mastercard’s accountrelationship model.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In alignment with Mastercardaccount and business development teams, drive sales to issuers,financial management software companies, and fintech entitiesacting in a manner like card issuing banks.
- Navigate financialorganizations to successfully gain adoption of an idea/concept.
- Serve as an ambassador for Ethoca at industry tradeshows andnetworking events, positioning Mastercard as a business partner,thought leader, and trusted advisor.
- Monitor competitor activity,regulatory framework, and proactively approach externalstakeholders.
- Reporting to Ethoca VP, Issuer Sales, NorthAmerica, the successful candidate will work closely with both theEthoca and Mastercard teams to sell Ethoca’s innovativeaward-winning solutions.
- Location is flexible.
Able to travel tosupport business needs (post pandemic) likely to be important againin the future.
ALL ABOUT YOU
- Several years’ experiencecommercializing recurring fee SaaS contracts with FinancialInstitutions (Issuers) – preferably with a strong technicalunderstanding of Digital Banking channels.
- Thorough understandingof fintechs, digital disruption and end consumer payment orpersonal financial management tools.
- Working in a start-upenvironment/an entrepreneurial culture.
- Driving complexinitiatives and/or leading customer accounts, relationships, andlarge cross-functional projects.
- Ability to drive results,accelerate deals / implementations, in a collaborative manner.
