Cashier/General Associate Position Available In Southeastern Connecticut, Connecticut

Cashier/General Associate B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill 129 N Stonington Rd, Mystic, CT 06355 As a general associate at Clyde’s, you are at the forefront of our operation. We are looking for energetic, friendly candidates who are willing to learn on the fly and love customer interaction! All of our positions are somewhat flexible, so you must be willing to switch and adapt between different job positions as needed. General associates may cashier in either the main store or our tasting room, sugar donuts, or assist in baking. Depending on your availability, you may be in several different positions. Tasting room cashiers must be at least 18 years of age. This position does not begin until the last week of August. Weekend availability is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. Accurately process customer transactions using our POS system. Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment. Ensure the cash register area is organized and well-maintained. Provide assistance and answer customer inquiries. Perform routine cleaning tasks during and at the end of your shift to maintain a clean store environment. Lift and carry items that weigh 25+ pounds to assist in restocking and replenishing the store shelves. Create a positive and energetic atmosphere for customers. Engage with customers, providing assistance and information about our products.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic and passionate about customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
