Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions and provide customers with change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
• Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dining areas as needed
• Promote and upsell menu items to customers
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, such as Aloha POS, to process orders
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices
• Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others Please note that all positions at our establishment are paid positions.
