Job Description We’re looking for a freelance Licensing Coordinator for a top apparel company in NYC! The company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Temporary Licensing Coordinator to support their Licensing team in managing product samples and coordinating logistics for product image shoots. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment and wants hands-on experience supporting the go-to-market process for licensed apparel collections. You’ll be a key player in ensuring their samples are prepared, organized, and production-ready for both internal presentations and PDP (product detail page) photography.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the preparation, tracking, and movement of product samples across teams, including design, sales, and marketing
• Assist with the planning and execution of PDP photo shoots, including managing sample delivery/pick-up schedules, shoot prep, and cross-team communication
• Organize and maintain sample sets for upcoming seasons—ensuring all pieces are properly hung, steamed, or folded as needed for merchandising or photography purposes
• Manage hanger inventory and sample closets to ensure items are easily accessible and well-organized
• Transport rolling racks and samples between departments, floors, and designated shoot locations
• Collaborate with marketing, creative, and e-commerce teams to ensure all assets are properly staged and accounted for

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fashion, sample coordination, production, or e-commerce is preferred, but not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
• Detail-oriented with a professional approach to workspace presentation and sample handling
• Able to lift and move garment racks and sample boxes as needed
