Sales Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automobile Sales Consultant to join our team. This position involves selling both new and pre-owned vehicles, ensuring an outstanding customer experience from first contact through final sale and beyond. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a desire to meet and exceed sales goals in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, identifying their vehicle needs and interests. Guide customers through the entire sales process, from test drives to financing and final delivery. Maintain thorough knowledge of all dealership products, services, financing options, and promotions. Follow up with prospective and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system. Achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets and performance metrics. Participate in ongoing training to stay current on vehicle inventory, market trends, and sales techniques. Assist in organizing and participating in dealership events and promotions. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and satisfying customer experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous automotive sales experience preferred but not required—training provided. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build relationships and deliver exceptional customer service. Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Proficiency with computers and dealership CRM systems is a plus.
