We are seeking a midlevel associate to join the Real Estate practice group in our Charleston, South Carolina office. The candidate should have three to six years of transactional drafting experience, and the ideal candidate would have experience in the preparation of purchase and sale agreements, real estate lending documentation, real estate development documentation, and experience working in the resort and hospitality sector. Lawyers in our Charleston real estate group assist clients with commercial real estate and resort and hospitality transactions and development projects in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. Prior experience in a sophisticated law firm practice is strongly preferred. #LI-MM2 Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Base Compensation $225,000 – $280,000 / year The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
