Sentry Event Services is hiring for the 2025 event season —and this is your chance to be part of the game day magic at Doak Campbell Stadium , Donald L. Tucker Civic Center , and other exciting venues across Tallahassee. Whether you’re ensuring safety as a licensed security guard or creating a great fan experience as an usher/guest services team member , you’ll be at the heart of major events like: Florida State University (FSU) Football Games Florida A&M University (FAMU) Home Games Concerts & Live Entertainment Events What You’ll DoSecurity Guard (Class D License Required) Monitor and maintain a safe environment for all guests Operate walk-through metal detectors at entry points Respond professionally to crowd and patron issues Enforce venue policies and procedures Usher/Guest Services (No License Required) Greet and guide fans with a friendly, helpful attitude Check tickets and help guests find their seats Provide event info and assist with general inquiries Support crowd flow and venue navigation
Who We’re Looking For Security:
Valid Florida Class D Security License Usher/Guest Services:
No license required Great attitude and team spirit Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure Reliable transportation required Must pass a background check (done during the interview process)
Availability:
Event dates vary, but availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred. Must be hired by August 15, 2025 , to complete training ahead of FSU’s home opener on August 30, 2025 .
