Cashier/Sales Associate Home Gadgets 3100 SW College Road, Ocala, FL 34474 Overview We are seeking a dedicated Cashier/Sales Associate to join us at Home Gadgets! We are a kitchen and housewares store with many exciting product offerings. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments through the POS system. Maintain knowledge of sales promotions and product offerings to effectively sell and upsell items. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked. Uphold store policies regarding returns, exchanges, and customer service protocols. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proficiency in cash handling and experience using POS systems is highly desirable. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others and providing excellent service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older We offer flexible shifts and are able to work with applicants that may have other obligations such as school, family, etc.
