Retail Sales Associate and Pet Rescue/Adoption Specialist The Noble Paw 2468 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34994 Positions pays hourly wage

Responsibilities:

• Responsibly Handle and provide light care for live dogs and puppies, safely and ethically
• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
• Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
• Assist customers in finding and selecting the right pet for their family, as well as products and supplies their new pet will need
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities
• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions
• Process customer returns and exchanges
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
• Assist with merchandising inventory products and product/supplies displays

Skills:

• Must Love Animals
• Must Be able to handle young animals for sale & adoption
• Strong sales skills with a proven track record
• Experience with cash register operations
• Ability to upsell and cross-sell products effectively
• Bilingual in English and Spanish or other language is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English Communicate with positive, supportive Customer Support skills
• Candidates must love animals and be able to work directly with live young animals
• Must be able (and non-allergic) to work directly with and handle live animals, primarily dogs and young puppies Candidates should be outgoing, personable and enthusiastic with high energy and physically be able to bend, some light lifting, standing on feet throughout the day,

This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Must be willing to cross train as an Animal welfare tech, cleaning kennels, feeding, bathing, brushing.

MUST FOLLOW CROSS CONTAMINATION PROTOCOLS AT ALL TIMES TO PROTECT THE PUPPIES.

This position requires you to clean up after the animals all day, yes puppies are cute, yes they are fun to work with, however you will be cleaning up feces and urine all day long. If you only want the position to play with the puppies this is not the position for you. We prioritize the well beings of the animals in our care, that includes providing a clean environment at all times.
