Some weekdays and one day over the weekend. Ideal candidates are highly motivated, customer service-centric, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Tennis Pro Shop Representatives offer friendly and expedient service to the property’s guests and assist the tennis professional staff in shop operations, merchandise sales and other related activities. Beginners are welcome – while knowledge of tennis is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position. Responsibilities Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management Responsible for accountability of POS transactions made Collects applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons as they arrive Makes court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner Assists with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store Assist shop supervisor with creating appealing displays Assists with monthly physical inventories May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Regular and reliable attendance.
