In this role, you will actively engage with customers, educate them on the benefits of our premium honey and specialty products, and most importantly, drive sales through enthusiastic product recommendations and storytelling. Responsibilities Proactively engage with customers to drive sales and meet or exceed store goals. Educate and sell by sharing product benefits, usage tips, and the story behind Savannah Bee Company. Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize transaction value. Assist in executing sales promotions, loyalty programs, and in-store events to boost revenue. Acts as an advocate for Savannah Bee Company and our products Become an expert on Savannah Bee Company’s honey, body care, and specialty products. Teach customers about honeybees, sustainability, and product benefits in a compelling, sales-driven way. Offer samples and live demonstrations to encourage purchases. Process transactions efficiently while promoting add-ons and customer loyalty. Work with the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Participate in sales challenges and contribute ideas to improve performance. Provide feedback on customer trends to help optimize store strategies. Engages with and supports team members (aka the “hive”) Performs other duties as assigned Requirements and Skills 1+ years of retail sales experience (specialty, luxury, or high-touch sales preferred). Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals—must love selling! Strong upselling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling skills. Driven by targets, incentives, and closing the sale. Welcoming, friendly, energetic and positive demeanor Confident, persuasive, and outgoing personality—loves engaging with people. Ability to create an interactive and educational shopping experience. Ability to handle objections and convert browsers into buyers. Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to demonstrate and explain product benefits in an engaging, sales-focused way. Able to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system Able to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation Able to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area Able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store Able to work varied hours/days to include nights, weekends and holidays
