Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities. Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations through effective upselling techniques. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to enhance customer interactions. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist in supervising junior staff members when needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. Uphold store cleanliness and organization standards to create an inviting shopping atmosphere. Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
