As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Duties Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively upsell items. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized by restocking shelves and managing inventory. Provide exceptional phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns. Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in their roles. Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers effectively. Proficient in basic math for handling transactions and inventory calculations. Experience with POS systems is preferred for efficient transaction processing. Ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance. Previous retail experience is beneficial but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
