Sales Associate – Retail Operations American Eagle #840 Oglethorpe Mall Savannah, GA 31406 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while effectively promoting and selling our products. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Utilize effective sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize sales opportunities. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions and handling cash. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to assist customers effectively. Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner. Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a store environment is preferred. Strong sales skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
