Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with their needs, promoting products, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed. Engage in upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance customer experience. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications. Experience in product demos to effectively showcase merchandise benefits. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including upselling techniques. Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
