Sales Associate B & G Pools and Spas 5308 N Roxboro Rd, Durham, NC 27712 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team at B & G Pools and Spas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for sales, with the ability to upsell products and enhance the shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining stock levels, assisting customers, and promoting our products. Job Hours

• Closed on Sunday and Monday
• Tuesday
• Friday (9:30am
• 5:30pm) Saturday (9:30am
• 2:00pm) Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.

Effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers to facilitate sales. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing merchandise and pool chemicals. Perform water tests and explain the results and regimen on how to correct any water issues to the customer. Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash registers. Collaborate with team members to create an inviting shopping atmosphere and ensure store cleanliness. Requirements Must be able to lift 50lbs. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required. Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and inventory management. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
