Job Overview:

Accent Prone is a family-owned and operated retail business that specializes in furniture and home accents. By sourcing and offering distinctive furniture and décor, our curated collection of home furnishings aims to inspire customers to break away from conventional trends and big box store designs. After 13 years of business, Accent Prone has grown from one brick and mortar store to multiple retail locations, warehouses, and an online store, all backed by a talented team of creative individuals! We are looking for a dynamic, part-time OR full-time sales associate to join our team at our Kernersville location that will handle the following responsibilities: Greet and offer personalized assistance to all customers (in-store and over the phone) in a friendly and polite manner, practice active listening, and provide information about any current promotions. Stay informed on product features and trends to confidently educate customers about various offerings and provide tailored recommendations related to furniture selection, home styling, fashion pairings, and gift ideas. Assist with styling store displays and vignettes to reflect Accent Prone’s aesthetic and visual merchandising standards. Operate a point-of-sale system to ring up purchases, collect payment, and issue receipts. Assist in unboxing, tagging, and organizing new products to keep the store looking polished and inviting. Maintenance around the store including sweeping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning in order to uphold a clean and safe shopping environment. These tasks are on a rotation basis with the rest of the staff. Accent Prone Associates… Have an approachable personality and a love for design, fashion, and helping others express their style. Additional Qualifications:

Basic math and money handling Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Experience in retail, furniture sales and/or interior design is a plus, but not required.
