Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

As our Operations & Sales Support Associate / Driver, you will be crucial to our daily operations and future success.

Your duties will include:

1. Product Delivery & Customer Service (Primary Focus):

• Safely and efficiently deliver frozen and appetizer products to customer locations throughout Raleigh, Durham, and the surrounding areas.
• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and temperature control.
• Verify order accuracy with customers and obtain necessary confirmations upon delivery.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service during all interactions, addressing basic inquiries and escalating complex issues to owners.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and temperature-controlled delivery vehicle.

Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Accurately receive incoming product shipments from suppliers, verifying quantities and inspecting for quality/damage.
• Efficiently organize and maintain our walk-in freezer, ensuring optimal space utilization, proper labeling, and adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to invoices/packing slips.
• Maintain precise inventory records, performing regular counts and reporting low stock levels to owners for timely reordering.

Sales Support & Prospecting:

• Proactively research and identify new potential clients (restaurants, bars, catering companies, etc.) within the Raleigh-Durham metro area.
• Assist owners in preparing sales materials, samples, and presentations for prospective customers.
• Potentially conduct initial outreach to qualify leads and introduce our products/services.
• Maintain accurate records of sales prospecting activities.

Vehicle & Equipment Care:

• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any maintenance needs or issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record (Mandatory): Essential for operating our company vehicle.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull carts, and work in a cold environment (freezer, refrigerated truck) for extended periods.

Highly Organized:

Exceptional organizational skills for managing inventory, maintaining a tidy freezer, and tracking sales leads.

Detail-Oriented:

Meticulous attention to accuracy in order fulfillment, receiving, and inventory record-keeping.

Proactive & Self-Motivated:

Eager to take initiative, especially in identifying new business opportunities.

Excellent Communication Skills:

Professional and friendly demeanor for interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.

Basic Computer Literacy:

Comfort with using mapping applications, spreadsheets (for inventory), and online research.

Reliability & Punctuality:

A dependable individual who understands the importance of timeliness in delivery and operations. Prior Experience (Preferred): Experience in delivery, warehouse operations, inventory management, or food service is a strong plus. Sales or customer service experience is also highly valued.

Food Safety Awareness:
