Cashier/Sales Associate Aggie’s Steak & Subs 212 East Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530 Summary As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and facilitating smooth transactions in a retail environment. Reporting to the Store Manager, your core skills in cash handling, retail sales, and communication will be essential in assisting customers and managing the cash register. Your premium skills in POS systems and merchandising will enhance the shopping experience, while your relevant experience in grocery stores will enable you to effectively meet customer needs. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Must be able to maintain multiple task well in a fast pace work environment Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers Experience in retail sales and stocking merchandise Basic math skills and familiarity with retail math Ability to work in a fast-paced grocery store environment Deal with returns and refunds as necessary Knowledge of POS systems and merchandising techniques Answer customer questions as they arise Help with other tasks as needed including managing shelves, tracking inventory, and keeping the store clean’ Bilingual candidates are preferred
